Micah welded rebar arms to the flagpole tube so it will grip the concrete better. Then the guys leveled and secured the tube. It is now ready for concrete. The tube comes as part of the flagpole kit.
The concrete was poured today. It took about 1 1/2 yards of concrete.
The Chief dug the trench for the lighting.
The flagpole was erected today. The pole was erected with a crane supplied by Johnny's Signs.
The installation process is very simple. The crane lifted the flagpole, and a couple of our guys placed it in the hole. The pole was plumbed, secured with wood shims, and sand was poured into the hole to stabilize the pole.
We get our flags from Quality Flags.
