BRMC Ambulance Station
On January 21, 2002, the BRMC Ambulance service moved to its new station across the road from the hospital. It is one of many expansions the hospital is undertaking. Our former station was shared with the Education Department. They needed more space due to growth, as did we. Due to the many regulations which have evolved it was decided to build us a new station.
The huge garage is shared with the Maintenance Department. They occupy the southern (right) half of the building. The entry door is the entrance to our half of the garage.
Here is the breezeway which connects the garage to the main building. The east wing of the building has been converted into ambulance quarters. It will also house the new BRMC Sleep Studies Center.
